Life Is A Survival Strategy (Part 1)

(This calf was born on Rosh Hashanah, September 25, 2014, the first day of the current Shemitah Year.

This photo has not been photoshopped.)

The Infinite Banking Concept (IBC) is a strategy or process whereby we can use our dividend paying whole life insurance policy, issued by a reputable mutual insurance company, as our own bank or storehouse of wealth. Its wisdom can be seen in the Biblical story of Joseph.

Pharaoh, troubled by his dreams, seeks the interpretation from magicians and wise men in Egypt, but none can help.

Life Is Studying To Show Yourself Approved

Show of hands. Who checked out the links I recently posted? Good for you.

Few people have heard of the "Infinite Banking Concept" (IBC), and I promise you that your mind will go in every direction because this idea goes against everything we've been taught. Be patient. Open your heart to learn.

R. Nelson Nash is the originator of what he coined the Infinite Banking Concept. When I first heard of this, I knew immediately it was a revelation from the Lord and that it would change my financial world forever.

Life Is Building A New Storehouse

Yesterday's blood moon was spectacular. The duration of the totality of darkness (5 to 12 minutes) is debated because the top portion of the moon (as observed from California) remained light and even bright because the hand of the sun rested on top of the moon, making it difficult to determine (visibly) when totality began and ended.

I promised I would talk about what all this blood moon, solar eclipse, Shemitah year stuff means. Before I begin, I must issue a disclaimer. Remember that I picked the Royals to win the World Series.

Don't Miss the Third Blood Moon

Don't forget. Tomorrow, Saturday, Arpil 4, 2015 (Passover) is the 3rd red blood in the Tetrad (series of 4 consecutive total lunar eclipse red blood moons). It will be the shortest eclipse of the century!

This total lunar eclipse will be visible to those in the western half of the US, and those in the Pacific, East Asia, and Oceania. It will begin at 4:58 am and last about 5 minutes. On the east coast, the time will be 6:16 am; however, we will only see a partial eclipse because the sun will be rising at the same time.

Life Is Rapidly Changing

**I've broken my cardinal rule of 500 words or less. This is close to 1,000 words (2 articles in one). In my defense, I did so because, as it is, I have to split this in parts.

Moses wrote: “And God said, ‘Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as SIGNS to mark SEASONS and days and years” (Genesis 1:14).

Do you get that? “Lights” are for signs. The word for “signs” is the Hebrewowth, and means “signal; beacon; omen; evidence.” The word for “seasons” is the Hebrew

Life Is Giving of Yourself To Others

A teacher friend called me about the terrible time she is having at her school. She teaches 5th and 6th graders.

After nearly 20 years of teaching, she is on the verge of quitting. She loves teaching, loves her colleagues, loves the kids, and is loved by all of them, but has had it with the disciplinary action her bosses refuse to take because of political correctness.

Political correctness is nothing more than abject weakness. It’s the easiest road one can take -- fruitless and meaningless, but easiest.

Life Is Small Sometimes

You may know of Rick Warren, author of the popular bookPurpose Driven Life. What you may not know is that the catalyst for the book’s popularity is its subtitle:What On Earth Am I Here For?

No matter who you are, each of us is searching for meaning in our lives. We all want to know: what on earth am I here for?

Someone recently asked me what message I want to send when I write. Without hesitation, hope. Regardless of what arena you’re in, people desperately need hope.

Ode To America

This excerpt is from a Romanian Newspaper. The article was written by Mr. Cornel Nistorescu and published in the Romanian newspaperEvenimentulzileiin the “News of the Day” section under the title "C'ntarea Americii," meaning “Ode To America.”

Why are Americans so united? They would not resemble one another even if you painted them all one color! They speak all the languages of the world and form an astonishing mixture of civilizations and religious beliefs.

Life Is Being Men and Women After God's Own Heart

Most Christians know this about the Biblical King David: "he was a man after God's own heart." What most cannot tell you is why. What does that all mean anyway?

Two of the best explanations I've heard is that David was that way because 1) he totally annihilated the enemy, and 2) he repented when he messed up.

To totally annihilate the enemy simply means to clean house. If you've just moved up as head honcho somewhere, clean house. Get rid of the old ways of doing things that you know don't work, and usher in the new.

Life Is The Prayer of Jabez

I know. I know. I did tell you, as you may recall, that 2014 was the year of the door. Not only were we given the privilege of shutting the door on the old, but we were empowered to walk through the door of 2015, the new. Well, that's my excuse for putting all of you on the back burner. The door swung wide open to so many amazing new things in 2015 that even I, the dreamer, have a hard time grasping all these wonderful blessings.

You may have heard of the Prayer of Jabez (above). Several years ago, Bruce Wilkinson wrote a well-known book based on this obscure Biblical passage.
